Ghost Whisperer

I love watching ghost whisperer, It's on Thursday night at 7:30 pm on Prime 7.
It's about a girl Melony Gorden, she's married and she can see ghosts and she helps them move on but to do this she needs to get in contact with their families, tell them what is going on and get them to trust her. It's good to watch and I get right into it and then before you know it its almost over. I like it when there's double episodes. Watch it, you'll love it and get hooked, I know I did.

Christmas in FRANCE

Nearly every home has a Nativity scene or creche.
The creche is often peopled with clay figures called santons or "little saints."

The French make a traditional yule log cake called Buche de Nol which means "Christmas Log." The cake is served at the grand feast.

The feast is held at a midnight mass on Christmas Eve which is called Le rveillon.

Karen McMillan. 100 years of life.

Karen was born 10-03-1907 in the Deniliquin Hospital N.S.W. She has two sisters and two brothers.

She went to the Deniliquin primary school where the classes were big with different aged children and only one teacher, "if we got into trouble we would get the cane or sat in the corner", Karen said. After school she loved playing hide-and-seek with the children in the neighbourhood, didn't have much pocket money but things you bought they didn't cost much either.

Karen's father built a lot of her toys out of wood and her mother would sew clothes for the dolls which she would have to share with her sisters. To be continued.....

TENNIS

At TAFE we are writing a little bit about our favorite sports we like playing or watching on T.V.

Here are some that people have chosen. Hockey, Netball, Fishing, Shooting etc, I have chosen Tennis because I use to play it on most weekends in teams.

Tennis can be played 1 or 2 player on each side, which is called singles or doubles, Players use a stringed racket and hit a hollow rubber ball covered in felt over a net. Tennis can be played for fun with friends or in competition.

You can find information in The Encyclopedia of World Sports book on pg 132

SPANGLISH
Comedy/Drama
A Mexican woman becomes housekeeper for the Clansky family. She is unable to speak English & is having trouble communicating with the family & soon realises the family has trouble communicating with each other.
The reason why i chose the Spanglish movie for our class to watch is because it seems interesting from what I read on the back, It a comedy and I enjoy comedies and it has Adam Sandler and he is a great actor.

I go to TAFE 9-3 Mondays and Tuesday & 12-3 Wednesday.
We have been reading in the morning 9-9:30. I've been reading "Footprints in the sand", a double sided book. On one side it's got his side of the story and on the other it's her side.
We have been doing measuring in a booklet.
Dan, Ash, Nick & Donna are the friends I hang around with.
Louise, Rose & Annette are the teaches. They are awesome, they help with the work I need help with and I don't feel stupid if I need to ask for their help.
